Srilanka, Feb. 25 -- Two more suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of Sanjeewa Kumara Samararatne, also known as Ganemulla Sanjeewa.

Police said that the mother and younger brother of Ishara Sewwandi, the female suspect who provided the revolver used in the murder, were taken into custody over the shooting at the Hulftsdorp Magistrate's Court.

Ganemulla Sanjeewa, engaged in organised crime, was shot and killed at the court on February 19.

Police said that the 23-year-old suspect and his 48-year-old mother, both residents of Negombo, were arrested on charges of aiding and abetting the crime, as well as having prior knowledge of the murder.
