Srilanka, Feb. 18 -- A moderate level Air Quality Status was recorded yesterday in major urban areas in Sri Lanka while slightly unhealthy level air quality was recorded in Ratnapura and Embilipitiya.
The Vehicular Emission Test Trust Fund of the Department of Motor Traffic said people were requested to seek medical advice if the moderate condition of air level causes breathing difficulties for sensitive individuals.
Comparatively, Sri Lanka's Air Quality Index (SL AQI) within the next 24 hours will be slightly unhealthy at some of the cities in the country.
