Srilanka, May 24 -- The government has decided to hold the final rites of veteran actress late Malini Fonseka with state honours, Minister of Buddha Sasana Religious and Cultural Affairs Hiniduma Sunil Senevi said.

He said the final rites will be held next Monday (26) at Independence Square.

The Minister said late Fonseka's mortal remains will be placed at the Tharangani Hall located within the National Film Corporation of Sri Lanka premises from 10 am tomorrow for the public to pay their respects.
