Sri Lanka, Nov. 18 -- The Ministry of Industrial Development will supply shoes with a one-year warranty, ensuring quality under the supervision of the Sri Lanka Textiles and Garments Institute, as part of a new school voucher program.

The initiative, jointly launched by the Ministries of Education and Industrial Development, aims to provide schools with fewer than 250 students, estate schools with 251-500 students, special needs schools, and Pirivena lay and monastic schools with access to locally produced footwear.
