Sri Lanka, Dec. 11 -- Lionel Messi is set to visit India for a three day event called the GOAT Tour. The Argentine legend will be in the country on December 13, 14 and 15, travelling across four major cities. Earlier this week, Messi won the 48th trophy of his career and his India tour will include meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, leading celebrities and several chief ministers.

Event promoter Satadru Dutta has confirmed that legendary striker Luis Suarez, Messi's long time Barcelona teammate, will join the tour along with FIFA World Cup winner Rodrigo De Paul.
