Sri Lanka, May 29 -- Nalin Sampath Kumara, a lawyer, has lodged a complaint with the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to record statements from MP Dayasiri Jayasekara and former MP Udaya Gammanpila over the claims they have made over the release of 323 containers by the Sri Lanka Customs.

He said MPs Jayasekara and Gammanpila had made statments on social media and mainstream media that crimes have increased in the country after the release of the containers on January 18 and claimed that the containers may have contained drugs and weapons.
