Sri Lanka, Dec. 5 -- The Government of the Republic of Korea has pledged USD 500,000 to support emergency relief efforts in Sri Lanka following the severe impact of tropical cyclone Ditwah.

According to an official announcement, the funds will be channelled through the World Food Programme (WFP) to assist affected families in the most severely impacted districts including Nuwara Eliya, Badulla, Kurunegala, Kandy, Trincomalee and Mannar. The assistance aims to provide essential supplies and meet the immediate needs of vulnerable communities.
