Sri Lanka, Nov. 19 -- A 24-year-old Kiwi woman travelling solo across South East Asia says she was left "on edge" after a man in Sri Lanka sexually harassed her and lewdly exposed himself while trailing her tuk-tuk.

Molly, originally from Christchurch, said she was pleased with the swift action of local police, who arrested the man for indecent exposure. However, she expressed surprise that some people attempted to blame her for the incident.

The young traveller, who documents her adventures on a solo travel Instagram account, shared her reflections with followers, emphasizing that one incident should not define a country or solo female travel.
