Colombo, April 11 -- Former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella arrived at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today for the second consecutive day to give a statement regarding the allegation of importing substandard Human Immunoglobulin vaccines.

He had previously visited the CID on April 9 to provide a statement, which was recorded over the course of about an hour.

Rambukwella was arrested and remanded last year in connection with the vaccine import case and was granted bail after being in custody for nearly seven months.
