Sri Lanka, Dec. 15 -- The 31-member Japan Disaster Relief (JDR) Medical Team that engaged in providing medical-assistance to disaster affected people has concluded their mission and is scheduled to fly home toningt.

The medical team comprising doctors, medical experts, relief personnel and rescue specialists, arrived in Colombo on December 03.

They provided urgent medical care to communities affected by the recent flooding through the fully equipped mobile field hospital established by them at the Chilaw Police Grounds.

The team met with Health Sectreatry Dr. Anil Jasinghe this morning prior to their departure.
