Sri Lanka, March 10 -- The prevailing dry weather conditions in Sri Lanka are expected to change temporarily on March 10 and 11, with showers predicted in several areas, particularly in the Eastern and Uva provinces.

Speaking to Daily Mirror, Deputy Director of the Meteorology Department, Meryl Mendis, stated that showers or thundershowers would occur at times in the Northern, North-Central, Eastern, and Uva provinces, as well as in the Matale, Nuwara Eliya, and Hambantota districts.

Other areas may also experience showers or thundershowers in the afternoon or at night.
