Sri Lanka, Oct. 14 -- Five individuals, including the main suspect Ishara Sewwandi, wanted in connection with the murder of organized crime gang leader Ganemulla Sanjeewa, have been arrested in Nepal.

The suspects are accused of aiding and abetting the fatal shooting of Sanjeewa Kumara Samararatne, alias Ganemulla Sanjeewa, which occurred inside the Aluthkade No. 05 Magistrate's Court on February 19 this year.

The main suspect, Pingpura Devage Ishara Sewwandi, 25, is alleged to have assisted the shooter who carried out the attack. She had reportedly gone into hiding immediately after the incident, and investigators had been unable to trace her whereabouts until now.
