Colombo, Nov. 1 -- A 39-year-old person was arrested while in possession of a foreign-made pistol, a magazine and 13 rounds of live ammunition at Peellawatte in Minuwangoda this morning.

The suspect is a resident of Peellawatte in Minuwangoda.

He is to be produced before the Minuwangoda Magistrate's Court tomorrow and a 48-hour detention order is to be obtained.
