Sri Lanka, Feb. 12 -- The Diplomatic Reception celebrating the 78th National Independence Day of Sri Lanka was held at St Regis Beijing with the participation of the Diplomatic community, government officials, leaders of state-owned enterprises, Heads of Universities, Think Tanks, representatives of Tourism sectors, cultural and other organizations.

Mr. Liu Jinsong, Director General of the Asian Affairs Department from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs represented the Government of the People's Republic of China. Deputy Mayor of Pinnguo District, Provincial Leaders, Officials from the Provincial Foreign Affairs Officers and other line agencies were among the other Chinese leaders participated at the celebrations.
