Sri Lanka, Oct. 31 -- Speaker Jagath Wickramarante decided to summon IGP Priyantha Weerasooriya to parliament for a discussion on the security of Parliamentarians.

The discussion is being held in Parliament headed by the Speaker following a request by the Opposition MPs.

The Opposition MPs had requested the Speaker to summon the IGP to Parliament to discuss on their security.

Some Opposition MPs including Jagath Withane have raised security issues lately and had complained that he has received death threats.
