Sri Lanka, May 30 -- The National Meteorological Centre has issued a weather advisory, forecasting heavy showers exceeding 100 mm in certain areas of the country. According to the Forecasting Division, these downpours are likely in some places within the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces, as well as in the Nuwara-Eliya, Kandy, Galle, and Matara districts.
In addition, thundershowers have been predicted at intervals in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, and North-western provinces, along with the Galle and Matara districts. Meanwhile, several spells of showers may occur in parts of the North-central province and in the Mannar and Hambantota districts.
