Sri Lanka, Oct. 31 -- Health Minister Nalinda Jayatissa has called on Sri Lankan specialist doctors working overseas to consider returning home, citing a shortage of medical specialists in the country's health service.

During his recent official visit to the United Kingdom, Minister Jayatissa attended a meeting organized by the Sri Lankan High Commission with Sri Lankan doctors living in the UK. At the discussion, he highlighted the critical need for experienced doctors to strengthen the national health system.
