Sri Lanka, April 14 -- A head-on collision between a bus and an Army truck occurred a short while ago in the Akbarpura area, killing the bus driver, the Akbarpura Police said.

They said that the bus, from Mawanella had overtaken another vehicle and crashed on to the Army truck coming from the opposite direction.

The bus driver died on the spot.

The Akbarpura Police are conducting further investigations.
