Srilanka, Feb. 3 -- The Ministry of Defence has responded to a viral video circulating on social media, which falsely claims that President Anura Kumara Dissanayake used three Sri Lankan Air Force aircraft for his recent visit to Jaffna.

In a statement, the Ministry denied the claim, confirming that the Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters has verified that no Air Force aircraft were used for the visit.

The Ministry clarified that the President travelled to Jaffna in his official car and said that the information circulating online was completely false.
