Sri Lanka, Aug. 6 -- The Department of Examinations has announced that all tuition classes for the 2025 Grade Five Scholarship Examination will be prohibited from midnight today (August 6) until the conclusion of the exam on August 10.

In an official statement, the department said that conducting tuition classes, subject-related lectures, seminars, and workshops for exam candidates during this period is strictly forbidden. The ban also applies to the printing, distributing, or publishing of model question papers or promotional material-whether in print, electronic, or social media-that claim to include possible or similar exam questions.
