Sri Lanka, Aug. 10 -- The results of the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination, held today (10), are expected to be released before September 20, Examinations Department Commissioner General A.K.S. Indika Kumari Liyanage said.

Addressing the media, she said this year's examination was conducted at 2,787 centers across the country, with 307,951 candidates sitting for the test.

Among them were 901 students with special needs, including 12 candidates who used Braille scripts.

The Commissioner General said the Examinations Department will take all necessary steps to release the results promptly, ensuring authorities have sufficient time to process them and take the necessary measures.
