Sri Lanka, Sept. 2 -- The results of this year's Grade 5 Scholarship Examination are expected to be released before the end of the week, Examinations Department Commissioner General A.K.S. Indika Kumari Liyanage said.

She said the exam was conducted on August 10 at 2,787 centers across the country, with 307,951 candidates participating. Among them were 901 students with special needs, including 12 who used Braille scripts.

The Commissioner General assured that the Examinations Department will take all necessary steps to release the results promptly, giving authorities enough time to process them and implement required measures.
