Sri Lanka, Jan. 20 -- The government is ready to debate the no confidence motion on Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya on Thursday and Friday this week, Chief Government Whip Nalinda Jayatissa told Parliament today.
He said the government is also ready for an adjournment debate on education reforms on Thursday and Friday instead if the no faith motion is not moved.
Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, who responded, said the no faith motion will be moved at the right time.
"Let us talk about education reforms both this week and the next," he suggested.
