Sri Lanka, Jan. 9 -- The Ministry of Justice and National Integration has issued an extraordinary gazette notification to establish a prison in Welisara.

The gazette notification has been issued by Minister of Justice and National Integration Harshana Nanayakkara by virtue of the powers vested with him by Section 2 of the Prisons Ordinance (Chapter 54).
