New Delhi, Sept. 4 -- The Cabinet approval has been granted to postpone the implementation of Value Added Tax (VAT) on services provided by non-resident persons through electronic platforms to Sri Lankan consumers.
The Finance Ministry announced that the effective date, which was previously scheduled for October 2025, has now been extended to April 2026.
