Sri Lanka, Dec. 22 -- A White-handed Gibbon, the primate who lived in the Dehiwala Zoo for 22 years, has died, according to a statement from the Environment Ministry.
The Gibbon, along with its female partner, was brought to Sri Lanka from the Czech Republic in 2006.
It fell sick on December 17. The post-mortem has been conducted. The report is still pending.
