Colombo, Nov. 22 -- The death toll from the landslide at Pahala Kadugannawa rose to four after rescue teams recovered the bodies of two more victims, the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) said.

According to the DMC, the deceased include three males and one female.

At least four others injured in the incident remain in hospital.

Search and rescue operations are continuing amid fears that more people may still be trapped under the debris, officials added.
