Sri Lanka, Jan. 9 -- The Department of Labour announces that the Gampola Labour Office, located at P.B. Panabokka Mawatha, Gampola, will be temporarily closed with effect from 9 January 2026.

During the period of closure, clients are kindly requested to obtain services from other Labour Offices located within the Central Province.

The Department regrets any inconvenience caused to the public by this temporary closure. It is further informed that urgent steps have already been taken to re-establish the Gampola Labour Office at a suitable location in the suburbs of Gampola in order to resume services at the earliest possible date.
