Sri Lanka, Aug. 31 -- The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) today announced a reduction in fuel prices, effective from midnight today.

According to the revised rates, Petrol Octane 92 will be reduced by Rs. 6, bringing the new price down to Rs. 299 per litre.

Lanka Super Diesel 4 Star Euro 4 will see a reduction of Rs. 12, with the new price set at Rs. 313 per litre, while Lanka Auto Diesel will drop by Rs. 6 to Rs. 283 per litre.

However, the CPC confirmed that the prices of Petrol Octane 95 and Lanka Kerosene will remain unchanged.
