Sri Lanka, Jan. 21 -- The western slopes of the central hills experienced frost this morning (21), following the passage of Cyclone Ditwah.
A resident of the area reported that frost had settled on grassy areas in the Bhagwanthalawa region, marking a chilly start to the day for the western part of the mountain range.
Authorities have advised local residents and farmers to take precautions as low temperatures persist in the highland areas.
