Srilanka, May 7 -- The Sri Lanka-France Business Council (SLFBC) of The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce recently held its annual Members' Day, graciously hosted by the newly appointed French Ambassador to Sri Lanka Remi Lambert, at his official residence.

In his remarks, Lambert reaffirmed the strong and diverse ties between France and Sri Lanka. He highlighted the key areas of ongoing and potential collaboration, including debt restructuring, educational and cultural programmes through Alliance Francaise and the growing footprint of French companies in Sri Lanka.

Lambert also emphasised the importance of tourism, noting that France is currently a top source of tourist arrivals to Sri Lanka.
