Sri Lanka, Jan. 11 -- Police arrested four suspects in connection with an alleged plan to carry out a shooting in the Grand Pass area.

During the arrest, police also recovered a foreign-made revolver, ammunition and a stock of crystal methamphetamine ("ice").

According to the Colombo North Divisional Criminal Investigation Bureau, the suspects were arrested in Mattakkuliya and Fort following coordinated investigations.

More than 60 grams of "ice" were seized during the operation, along with a three-wheeler and a motorcycle.

The suspects, aged between 32 and 35, are residents of Mattakkuliya, Horana, Wanawasala and Kelaniya.
