Sri Lanka, Nov. 2 -- Former High Commissioner Kananathan has conveyed his sincere congratulations to President Alassane Ouattara of Cote d'Ivoire and President Dr Hussein Ali Mwinyi of Zanzibar following their recent election victories, both securing strong mandates from their citizens.

He noted that President Ouattara's resounding fourth-term victory demonstrates the continued trust the Ivorian people place in his leadership and development agenda. He likewise acknowledged President Mwinyi's clear win in Zanzibar, recognizing the confidence shown in his governance.

"I warmly congratulate both President Ouattara and President Mwinyi, and I wish them continued success as they lead their nations forward," Kananathan said.
