Srilanka, Nov. 29 -- The flood warning for the Deduru Oya Basin, has been extended for an additional 48 hours.

The Irrigation Department has urged residents living in the affected areas to remain highly alert and take all necessary precautions to ensure their safety in the event of possible flooding. Disaster management agencies have also been instructed to implement appropriate measures to respond to the situation.

Residents are advised to monitor updates closely and follow guidance from local authorities.
