Sri Lanka, Nov. 25 -- The Flight Attendants Union of Sri Lanka has issued a statement clarifying rumors surrounding a recent child maintenance court case. The union emphasized that the woman involved in proceedings with a prominent national cricketer is not an air hostess employed by any airline.

The union expressed concern over media reports that falsely identified the woman as an air hostess, calling such claims misleading and baseless. According to the union, this misinformation unfairly discredits its members and tarnishes the reputation of the profession.

In response, the union has urged media outlets and the public to correct these inaccuracies to prevent the spread of false information among the people of Sri Lanka
