Sri Lanka, Aug. 13 -- Five Chinese nationals involved in cyber fraud activities were deported by Immigration and Emigration officers at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) while attempting to enter Sri Lanka.

The individuals arrived at the airport at 10.30 a.m. from Bangkok, Thailand, on SriLankan Airlines flight UL-405. Suspicion arose during the immigration clearance process, prompting officers to refer them to the Chief Immigration and Emigration Officer for further investigation.
