Sri Lanka, June 2 -- Mahinda Siriwardana, the current Secretary to the Ministry of Finance, will retire from his post at the end of this month, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake announced today.
The announcement was made during the inauguration of National Tax Week, held this morning at the Presidential Secretariat.
Following his retirement, Siriwardana will take up a new international assignment as an Alternate Executive Director of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), representing Sri Lanka along with six other countries.
