Srilanka, Jan. 29 -- A female Executive Public Relations Officer at a leading five-star hotel in Wadduwa has reportedly fallen ill after an incident in which she was allegedly abused by a group of Polish nationals.

On January 19, a group of Polish nationals, reportedly intoxicated and naked, were in the hotel's swimming pool when they allegedly pushed the 40-year-old officer into the pool.

The fall caused her to suffer fractured bones and difficulty in breathing.

She was admitted to Panadura Base Hospital, where she is currently receiving treatment.
