Sri Lanka, June 24 -- Emirates Airlines confirmed that it resumed its regularly scheduled operations within hours following minimal disruptions caused by regional events on June 23.
The airline swiftly activated its contingency and disruption management plans, ensuring no flight diversions, only a limited number of cancellations, and some flights taking longer routes due to temporary airspace congestion.
Despite fast-changing regional developments, Emirates maintained business as usual across its network. Over the past two weeks, the airline successfully rerouted services to avoid conflict zones and operated more than 5,800 flights, carrying over 1.7 million passengers worldwide.
