Sri Lanka, Sept. 5 -- Seven patients out of those injured in the Ella bus accident are in critical condition, Director of the Badulla Hospital Dr. Palitha Rajapaksa said.

He said one person was receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit.

He said surgeries were performed on some patients last night and that surgeries on other patients will be completed by this evening.

The Director said another one or two patients will have to be admitted to the ICU following surgeries.
