Colombo, April 30 -- An elephant fell on a speeding motorcar that collided with it near the 6th kilometre post on the Puttalam-Anuradhapura road.
However, the couple inside the motorcar had a narrow escape and were unharmed.
The couple, from the Karuwalagaswewa area, was on their way to Puttalam when their motorcar struck the wild elephant as it was crossing the road.
