Colombo, April 21 -- The Election Commission of Sri Lanka today warned legal action against public servants who will not provide necessary personal details and inventories of vehicle assets of state entities to be deployed in the duties of the upcoming Local Government elections, the Daily Mirror learns.
The ECSL as per the powers vested in them through the constitution has sent a special circular recently addressed to all Ministry Secretaries, Commission Secretaries, Department Heads, Provincial Council Chief Secretaries, Governor Secretaries, Provincial Public Service Commission Secretaries and all Board Secretaries asking to furnish the data sheets of all the public employees and state resources including vehicle inventories that coul...
