Colombo, March 13 -- The strike launched by the doctors at the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital was called off this morning, GMOA deputy secretary Dr. Ajantha Rajakaruna said.
He said the decision was taken following a discussion with the North Central Province Governor Wasantha Jinadasa this morning.
He said the Governor assured to take steps to ensure security of the Hospital.
Doctors at the Anuradhapura hospital luanched a strike against the sexual assault of a lady doctor at the Hospital.
