Sri Lanka, Sept. 16 -- The Ministry of Public Administration has introduced digital signatures for public officials in a move aimed at streamlining administrative processes and enhancing efficiency across government services.
Minister of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government, Chandana Abeyratne, launched the initiative during a ceremony held to recognise digital signatures for officers in the Home Affairs Division.
The Minister emphasised that the government's broader objective is to digitize public services and transform the public sector to meet modern expectations.
