Sri Lanka, March 16 -- A defect has been discovered in the oil pipelines linking the Colombo Port to the Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminal Limited (CSTL) in Kolonnawa, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) said today.

The defect was identified in one of the two pipelines supplying fuel.

The CPC reassured the public that measures are being taken to maintain adequate fuel supply through the remaining pipeline.
