Sri Lanka, Dec. 3 -- Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa today urged the government to declare a day of mourning for the disaster victims.
"Do the least you can do and declare a day of mourning for those who died and were affected by the recent disaster," Premadasa told Parliament.
"We are bound by a divine duty to look after those who have been affected by the disaster," he added.
Also, he thanked all the countries which assisted Sri Lanka during one of its darkest hours.
