Sri Lanka, June 27 -- An Indian national trying to enter the country with Kush worth over Rs.21.3 million was intercepted by Sri Lanka Customs at the Bandaranaike International Airport last night.
According to Customs sources the 38-year-old passenger was arriving from Bangkok carrying two kilos and 130 grams of the Cannabis variety Kush concealed in his baggage.
Customs Narcotic Control Unit officials on suspicion searched the foreigner to find the drugs and he was taken in for questioning.
The foreigner along with the narcotics were to be handed over to the Police Narcotic Bureau for further legal proceedings.
