Sri Lanka, July 3 -- Sri Lanka Customs has collected over Rs. 1 trillion in revenue during the first six months of 2025.
Addressing a media briefing in Colombo today (July 3), Customs spokesperson Sivali Arukgoda said the department is confident of exceeding the government's annual revenue goal of Rs. 2.115 trillion.
"As of now, Customs revenue has already crossed the Rs. 1 trillion mark, and we still have six more months to go. We are confident that we will surpass the full-year target set by the government," Arukgoda said.
