Sri Lanka, Jan. 7 -- The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) has halted trading in Wealth Securities Ltd (WLTH.N) after detecting an unusual price movement at market opening, the Exchange said.

According to a notification issued by the CSE, all executed trades and pending orders in WLTH.N have been cancelled with immediate effect following the irregular opening price activity.

The CSE further announced that a separate opening auction for Wealth Securities will be conducted, and the timing of the auction will be communicated through the Automated Trading System (ATS) in due course.

Market participants have been advised to await further instructions from the Exchange before placing new orders related to the stock.
