Sri Lanka, Jan. 12 -- The Doctors' Trade Union Alliance for Medical and Civil Rights Chairman, Specialist Dr. Chamal Sanjeewa has filed a complaint with the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) over the alleged alteration of Sri Lanka's State Emblem on the official website of the Ministry of Public Security.

In his complaint, Dr. Sanjeewa said that changing the State Emblem in a manner that brings disrepute to the country is a serious offence that cannot be taken lightly. He called for a comprehensive and independent investigation and for legal action to be taken against those responsible.
